New Pics of the Boys!!!

Hi Everyone!!! Here are the latest pics of the boys! Aaron is 9 and Peyton, Micah and Coby just turned 2. Here are the cliff-notes about what's going on now.
Aaron is playing football and has a 2-1 season now. He also started back to school and got the teacher he hoped for all summer, Mrs. Deeb. Something about kickball and she was really cool! Too Funny! His days are really hectic since he has both everyday but he's pretty good about getting homework done first.
Peyton still loves to draw on the walls but we have focused his talent with chalk and crayons. He will sit and color for a long time. He thinks the TV is really funny now and will laugh out loud at the jokes. I still find him under his bed sleeping almost every night.
Micah still loves to be rough but we are working on being easy with mommy. He's trying but not a lot of success yet. His signs of affection are head butting and hitting. Ouch! He is talking so much more now. I love it when he comes out in the morning and says "hi baby" to me! I laugh every time!
Coby is a motor-mouth and I can't get him to be quiet! He wants to say everything and his latest word is pepperoni. He says it sooo clear! He loves to go to the potty although his timing is a little off. He's big into doing things for his brothers now. Hope it stays that way!
I'm going to try to post more often! This summer was so crazy that it was hard to keep up!

Giving it a try

We tried on our big boy undies today!! I didn't have any expectations of the boys peeing in the potty but I thought maybe I could get them excited about it. They loved their new undies with dinosaurs on them. Micah liked pulling them down and back up....Coby and Peyton just kept feeling them. It was really cute watching them. Coby started to pee a little and I threw him on the pot. He still had his undies on but he got excited about peeing on it. It'll happen...someday.

What the Hell Wednesday

What the hell.....why not start to blog everyday and document all the wonderful, and not so wonderful things that happen in my life.

Doug is putting together our playground fence outside!! This will save my sanity and house this summer. Right now...there is only a gate and 2 poles up. But soon..I will be able to take the kids outside by myself! There won't be any running away from me and trying to visit the neighbors. It's going to cover 200 square feet (i think) so the kids have plenty of room to run and play!! I am so excited for this project to get done!!!!

The little guys have hit there terrible two's at 21 months. If i say no to them....they say it back to me. If I put them in the corner....they all go sit in the corner together. I spend the whole two minute taking the other two out...while keeping the bad on in. The worst thing about this age is the team work that they've accomplished. One taking me into the kitchen and the others diving behind the couch to play with the plugs. One little guy asks for a snack and the second and third rip off their diapers and streak through the house. I know it will get worse before it gets better but I am determined to have a good summer!!! Potty training is coming up and to be honest...I'd rather poke my eyes out with a dull knife but it needs to be done. They are already getting naked....why not have them pee while they are at it? Any advice anyone has on that subject would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Pics of the kiddos

These are the latest attempts of getting all smiles and failing. They do look cute in their Penquin hoodies. More to come I'm sure.

Holy Crap it's been a month!!!

Ok.....gotta give the cliff notes version of the last month.....The weather is finally starting to break and I am walking now to get into shape. I don't know what shape I want yet but I'm walking anyway. Can you get a curvier figure by walking? Anyway....sometimes I take the boys and that usually doesn't work out for the best....but I still try.
I'm in the middle of painting my kitchen. Barn red. Yep....finally I'm getting some color into this house!!! I will post pics when it's complete.
My Aunt gave me matching curtains, bedspread and a shower curtain for my bedroom. Its a very nice gesture.....but they are bright yellow with pink flowers. All made out of the exact same material. The curtains blend right into the bedspread that have decorative pillows that all look exactely the same!!!! Plus.....sun glasses are required when looking directly intot the room. It's bright.
The little guys are talking so much more now. They are learning what animals are what and what they say. "If you happy and you know it" is their favorite activity right now and as long as I keep their pj's on backwards.....nap time isn't a disaster anymore.
Aaron...again...got straight A's on his report card. So proud of him!!! Baseball is starting back up but almost all of his practices have been cancelled due to rain. We are still fighting over his lack of ambition to do his chores. He has no problem doing them....as long as I remind him. I'm over it. Just do it!!! (sorry nike for stealing your logo.....it works)
I've been watching too much TV but I'm stuck at home all the time and this is what I have to do. I have a new obsession with Gordon Ramsey. I just think he's brilliant!!! Still love dancing with the stars and American idol. ABC's Thursday night is amazing with ugly betty, grey's and private practice. Hate when they involve children though. Drives me bonkers!!! Aaron and I watch Survivor together and say that's out weekly vacation. (I hate coach and want to stab him)
Hopefully the post will come more often now!! maybe someday I'll get good enough to post pics to my blogs. Just don't have the ambition yet.

Amazing Little People

I went to the Butler Days Inn last night for a huge consignment sale. I wasn't really impressed but I bought Aaron some more Goosebump books and the little guys some Little People stuff. I can't believe how much they love them!!! Aaron acted like I was Santa Claus bringing him toys when I showed him the ten new books he's got!! The little guys played for two hours without fighting, biting, or hitting with their new toys!!! We have a large barn, a small barn, and Noah's Ark with numerous little figures to go with them! Where have these toys been on all those rough winter days?

Errand Day

Since Doug had the day off...we had to get stuff done. After Aaron almost missed the bus this morning, we were off to the grocery store. We heard about Smart Shopper up in Knox (which is 21 miles from my house, not bad since the closet town is 18). I think it's almost like an Aldi but a little different. Anyway...we had one buggy filled to capasity..top and bottom...and the second buggy's bottom filled full and only spent $137!!! I couldn't believe it!!! My pantry looks like it came right out of RealSimple Magazine. I should take a picture but wont for fear it will never look that pretty again. Put the boys to bed as soon as we got home and we attacked the house together (which was a relief) and ate lunch with the boys. Not before cleaning up Peyton's poopy mess in his crib and Doug bathing him. Off to Wal Mart we went. Flying through there...getting the items they didn't have at the first store...including pepsi. Anybody that knows me knows I need Pepsi to survive. Then to the doctors for our well visit where the boys were terrible!!! Screaming and crying and acting like the world is about to end. Six shots later (2 each) we are on our way home to make burgers and fries. Just as we are about to sit down for dinner....Micah poops much more than a baby should ever poop. A total explosion covering everything in it's path. Good ol Doug plops him in the tub. Finally we have all eaten and getting the kitchen cleaned up for the last time wouldn't ya know it....Coby smells like a sewer and has pooped all over his jammies. Doug threw him in the tub. They are in bed...hopefully keeping their diapers on...and I am done for the day!!! Please let tomorrow be better!!!

Epiphany!!!

I realized today that I'm done living life on cruise control!! You only live once and right now....life is living me! I am going to plan and do more!!! I would love to get all my recipes (including all family recipes) into one big book. That way I don't have to rummage through tons of cook books to find my recipe. Along with that...I want to become a better cook, get caught up in scrapbooking, become fit and healthy (meaning taking care of that anemia problem) and have a fun filled summer packed with mini vacations!!! I'm done feeling like I'm stuck in a rut. I'm officially pulling myself out of it.

Grandparents Anniversary Dinner Party

Today was the party for my grandparents 62nd wedding anniversary!!! Every year they take the whole family (today it was 20) to the Villa Grande in Butler, Pa. The babies were horrible due to bad timing of naps and pure stubborness. All in all.....it was a nice time. Here is a pic of my grandparents. It's not the best...but like I said...horrible little boys at the time. I did put a nicer pic of my granparents at a previous party. They are party animals!!!

Going to get in the swing of things!!!!!

I'm determined to get in the swing of things!!! I'm pretty faithful to checking my facebook.. but that's all I seem to do and then I get pulled away to do some mommy business. Well damn it I'm doing it. Starting tomorrow...more pics and more blogging!!! I also need to start paying more "attention" to Doug. It's hard to work on a relationship when your dead tired at the end of the day!!!

The Steelers Won!!!

Thank goodness the Steelers won the AFC Championship!!! Doug would of been in such a depression that even a good hockey game wouldn't pull him out of!!! Now the anticipation of the Super Bowl begins. He's teaching the triplets how to shake their arms at the tv when the Steelers come on!!!! Aaron is already yelling at the players like they can hear him and take his advice! Doug and his boys will be ready for the big game! Now what will I do during this time? Waiting for the commercials to come on and take advantage of the good food! It would be so much easier if I liked to watch sports, but why force myself?

Will they ever care?

Yesterday was suppose to be a nice relaxing day with the family. Instead...it turned out to be one of the longest, most difficult days...ever!!! The babies woke up cranky, and made sure that everyone else was too! They all have explosive poopies that went all over their clothes and crib sheets and blankets. To make things worse..it went all over their bumpers too and I hate washing those!!! The day continued on with biting, climbing on the couch and changing the thermostat, and getting into drawers that they aren't suppose to get into. Even with the child safety lock on....they can still get my measuring spoons out. Doug made a great roast for dinner and we couldn't even enjoy it. Had to scarf it down like we were in an eating contest because the boys were tweaking out. Seven o'clock seemed to take weeks to come.

After the little ones went to bed...Aaron and Doug watched football and doing the male bonding while I tried to recoup. I did catch Doug sleep eating....twice!! He woke up both times with banana bread in his hands. It was pretty funny!!!

Hopefully today will be better. We are going to the farm to celebrate my dad's birthday. Happy Birthday Dad!!!

Catch ya up to speed.....

This is the cliff notes of our lives right now.....
Doug and I moved the family up to Eau Claire to a beautiful new home!!! I gave up my machinist job to stay home with Aaron and the babies and Doug is a Butcher. Aaron is nine and in the 3rd grade. He is super funny and so mature for his age. He just got straight A's for the second time in a row! He plays baseball and football and wants to play basketball. Coby, Micah and Peyton will be 17 months on the 15Th of Jan. They are walking, running, eating, starting to talk and unfortunately biting. It is so fun to watch them play together. Each one does have his own personality. Peyton is the oldest. He is bashful yet defiant. Micah is the middle trip and he is the cuddle bug but likes to push his brothers to the ground. Coby is the baby and is the most eager to learn new things, but so much that he gets into everything to check them out!!
I hope this blog will help me keep everyone up to date about life in my home...(don't get too much time to visit).
Thanks,
Tammy
